About the College:	Vishwa Bharti College of Education is a branch of a large educational complex, known as Vishwa Bharti Women's Welfare Institution established in the year 1951. The College is recognized by J&K State Govt. and is affiliated to the University of Kashmir. The College of Education was started in 1980. At present it is located at Akalpur More, Jammu at a distance of 8 Kms from Jewel Chowk.
Library Services	The Library of the College has a good collection of varied type of books on education with latest publication. besides books on education the books on science, Social studies, mathematics, Literature etc. form a major part of Library. Library is enriched with magazines, Educational Journals, Science journals, Encyclopedias etc.
Laboratory	A.V. Aid Room:- The College has a modernized A.V Aid laboratory where large collection of maps, charts, graphs-Boards, Outline maps, Roller Boards, Globes, Models, geometrical Sets etc. are available. Psychology Lab:- The College has a psychological laboratory equipped with psychological tests and Batteries. Science lab:- The College possesses a spacious Science laboratory with latest equipment/apparatus for conducting the experiment pertaining to Physics, Chemistry and Biological Science. Computer Lab:- The College has well established computer Laboratory having a number of computers and other allied facilities. Language Lab:- The College has well established language Laboratory with computers, Linguaphone and head Phones and other allied facilities.
Subjects offered:	Besides four core papers, the College offers different teaching subjects i.e English, Hindi, Punjabi, Maths, Physical Science, Bio-Science, Geography, History as papers V,VI,VII. The College offers five special courses i.e, Population Education, Educational Technology, Environmental Education, Guidance and Counseling and Computer Education as VIII paper.
Hostel Facility	Since, it is a Women's College, the College provides a Hostel facility within the campus itself, with all the necessary provisions like Dining Hall, Recreation Room, Doctor's Room, Retiring Room, Guest Room etc. To make the stay of students comfortable, services like 24 hours water supply, Power backup (Generator) Geysers, water coolers for drinking purposes and E.B.X system etc.are available. The provision of mess for Boarders is also in the Hostel. Besides the Ambulance for ailing students functions round the clock
