About the College:

Ramzan Memorial College of Education is situated at Ranji- at a Distance of 15 Kms from sopore town on the National Highway to Srinagar.The College  Building is having three stories with  a capacity of 27 Rooms, out of which there are 8 class rooms( lecture-Halls) , one Principal room, one office , one staffroom, one library, three laboratories including a computer lab. The College has high educational surroundings and we are committed to provide quality education. The College is developed on modern basis fulfilling demands of 21st century, placed in a cool & calm environment in all respects convenient & fit for imparting education & educational skills to those who aspire and love noble profession of teaching.

 The College has been granted permission by J&K state Govt. vide Government order  No. 164/HE of 2007 dated: 14-08-07 and is affiliated to the University of Kashmir (NAAC Accredited Grade “A”) Vide affiliation letter No. F(Affi:- B .Ed /Aid/10 Dated 12-09-07 for imparting instructions in the B.Ed programme.

Library:

 A rich library with adequate number of text books, reference and other reading material is existing in the College besides qualified staff to run the programme.
  1. Laboratory:- An extremely well equipped lab with latest experiments pertaining to the subjects and otherwise catering the diversity of psychology lab, social science etc.
  2. Audio-Visual :- The College has very well equipped laboratories for Bio-Sciences, Psychology, Geography, E.T.V etc..
  3. Classrooms equipped with state of the art audiovisual aids and specialized teaching kits.

 Other Facilities
  • Computer Lab:- Networked computer lab with internet facility and battery backup available round the clock.
  • Faculty:- The College has very well qualified group of members of the Teaching Staff who impart teaching instructions to the students with a great sense of devotion and dedication.
Hostel:

There are two separate hostel buildings both for girls and boys. The hostels are fully facilitated for the boarders in the form of beds, beddings, water facility, electricity and necessary bathing facilities. The arrangements for boarding students, for their food viz eating, drinking etc are available. Besides well ventilated dinning halls for serving hygienic food to the students.                       

 

Subject Specialization:-Besides the four core/foundation Papers of Principles of Education, Psychology of Learning,  Development of Education and Instructional Technology, the college offers the following optional/ special papers to the students of B.Ed Programme:-
