| About the College: | KSERT College has
been established in the year 2002 at Humhamma (Budgam), about 6 Km from the
Capital City of Srinagar. The College is affiliated to the University of
Kashmir, Srinagar and stands recognized by the UGC, under section 2(f) of UGC
Act of 1956 under reference No. F-8/259/2005(CPPI) dated 7-5-2005. College
imparts instructions in B.Ed Course only.
The College Campus is spread over 10
Kanals of land having three magnificent buildings, one three and two double
storied which includes academic block, administrative block, library,
auditorium, girls hostel and Lab. School. The Class rooms are spacious and
highly congenial for lectures and discussions. |
| Laboratories | The College has
well equipped laboratories which fully cater the needs the B.Ed and Lab
School students. Science Lab.: The College has scientifically fit and highly equipped laboratories for chemistry, physics and Bio-Science. Computer Lab: the Computer room is fitted with P-IV computers, printers, scanners for the use of students and college lecturers. Psychology Lab:- The College has well established psychology lab with all test materials. Audio Visual Room:- The College Audio Visual room is fitted with overhead and Video Projector, Colored Television, L.C

| Subjects offered: | Besides four foundation papers, the College offers six options in elective papers i.e Population Education, Computer Education, as Special Education, Environmental Education and School management and for teaching, college offers English, Math, Hindi, Urdu, Bio-Science, Physical Science, Geography and History & Civics. |
| Hostel Facility | The college has made arrangements for hostel facilities separately for boys and girls. Girls Hostel building with 25 rooms and all infrastructural facilities has been constructed within college complex, while two boys hostels are situated just outside the College Complex. Twenty four hour power backup inverter, telephone facilities are available and Doctor can be called as and when required. |
| Cultural and Co-curricular Activities | Since this College
has students from different states of India and the Indian cultural is actually
an outcome of the continuous synthesis of different cultures. Large number of
students from states like H.P, Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi, Hayrana and J&K
participate in cultural activities with keen interest and enthusiasm. This
presents a unique scenario of blending different cultures. Sporting events, debates and seminars are regular features of this college |
| Trust | The College is run
by a society namely Society for Promotion of Culture and Education, Registered
under registration of Societies Act VI of 1998 July 24, at 57-Rawalpora, Srinagar. The Society is headed by Mrs. Mumtaz-un-Nisa Ex. Director of School
