About the College:

Alamdar College of Education was founded in 2002 as a non profit making institution, strategically located at Apple Town Sopore, just 50KM from the Srinagar the Summer Capital. The College is committed to set high standards of imparting quality education. The college is spread in a lush green campus with all modern facilities.

Subjects offered: Besides core papers the college offers English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu languages. Physical science, Bio-science, Geography, History and Math as teaching subjects. Moreover, Computer education, Population education, Environmental education, Guidance and counseling, Physical and Health education are taught as elective papers.
LIBRARY

Well stocked library with a rich collection of over 6500 books and various national and international journals, magazines besides commissions, recommendations and reports, national and local papers are available in the library. These learning resources provide students good literature and information in the field of teacher education
